The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has intensified efforts for the transition of the exited Batch A and B N-power Beneficiaries into the proposed Federal Government opportunities through the NEXIT Plan

“The Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk had in a statement stated that out of the 500,000 exited Batch A and B N-power Beneficiaries, 200,000 beneficiaries will be engaged as financial services operators under the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF); 30,000 to be engaged beneficiaries as geospatial experts and enumerators in the Economic Sustainability Plan’s Mass Agric programme while others will have the option of benefiting from the Government Enterprise and Empowerment”

About 30,000 Npower volunteers have been engaged as enumerators under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Project for Agricultural Co-ordination and Execution (PACE)

To achieve this, Enumerators were engaged to survey smallholder farms, collect farmers’ details, identify priority crops and livestock, and mapping the size of the farm. The successful applicants will be required to download the survey apps and activate their user accesses. Enumerators will be compensated for successfully validated farmers and farms

Volunteers in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and the Project for Agricultural Co-ordination and Execution (PACE) is aimed to increase locally grown food supply, create employment opportunities in the agriculture sector, and export food surplus using existing agreements.
