Dr Njoku Escapes Death as Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Lay Ambush and Shot Him Doctor Njoku  who is the Chief Medical Officer in Charge of St Benedict Tuberculosis and Leprosy TBL Hospital in Moniaya Road Ogoja Miraculously escaped from the dreaded Armed Fulani Herdsmen whom majority are armed creating panic as they move freely unchallenged by the Nigeria Security.

According to one of our Reporters the Incident occurred at Exactly 7:30 to 8:00 Pm Nigerian Time, On Sunday the 13th of December 2020.

The Victim Dr Njoku Received a life threatening gun shot injury and he is being attended to at an undisclosed Hospital in the State.

Dr Njoku was Attacked by two Pistol bearing Fulani Herdsmen who approached him from the Bushes around his house, they aim was to terminate his life, but he was lucky to escape and he is currently thankful to God for sparing his Life.
He was asked to Lie facing the soil, he was subsequently lifted from the ground and about to be taken inside the Bush where they claimed their leader is hiding, According to Dr Njoku if he had followed them inside the Bush he may never make it out alive and he did not have any ransom to pay for his release

He further said that he attacked one of the herdsmen and they started fighting. The other one ran towards them and shot him in the back.

He said that he ran towards the road and started stopping cars but the gunmen followed him and started shooting at the cars. He however crawled through a gutter into a school compound were he was able to make a call for help.
